Le lundi 10 mai 2021, il a été annoncé que les 3 derniers albums de la superstar nigériane Burna Boy, lauréat d’un Grammy Award, ‘African Giant’, ‘Outside’ et ‘Twice As Tall’, avaient chacun atteint 100 millions de streams sur Spotify.
« Outside » est sorti en janvier 2018, « African Giant », nominé aux Grammy Awards, est sorti en juillet 2019 et « Twice As Tall », récompensé aux Grammy Awards, est sorti en août 2020.
Cette annonce intervient après la nouvelle selon laquelle » Ye « , un single de Outside, a été certifié disque d’or aux États-Unis.
Burna Boy doit également se produire au Governor’s Ball aux côtés de Billie Eilish, Asap Rocky et d’autres artistes.
