The eldest son of Sylvester Stallone, Sage Moonblood Stallone, 36, also an actor and director who had played Rocky Balboa Jr. in “Rocky V” in the 90s, was found dead in July 2021 at his home in Hollywood, according to the American press.
It was the janitor of his building who made the terrible discovery. According to the latest news from the police, Sage Stallone would have succumbed to a drug overdose.
The actor and director was recently “in a good state of mind and was working on several projects,” told the New York Post his lawyer George Braunstein, who shortly afterwards called his death a “tragedy” on NBC4.
Sylvester Stallone’s agent, Michelle Bega, told the celebrity website TMZ that her client was “shattered” by the news. “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and overwhelmed with grief over the sudden death of his son, Sage Stallone, who will mark him forever,” she wrote in a statement. “His sympathy and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha, the Rocky star’s first wife. Sage was a wonderful and very talented young man,” the statement added.
Sage Moonblood Stallone was the oldest of five children. He and his brother Seargeoh, were born from the first marriage of Sylvester Stallone with Sasha Czack. Three daughters, Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose and Scarlet Rose, were born from the third marriage of the actor with Jennifer Flavin.
