Il n’a pas été chose aisée de faire sortir l’animal de sa tanière. «Mais après quelques mots d’encouragement et de persuasion, il a finalement lâché prise et est entré dans le sac», a expliqué la société protectrice des animaux.

An unexpected visitor!

Even though the weather has become much cooler, we are still getting calls for snake rescues. Fortunately not all are like this one.
Residents of a house in Fernleigh heard a loud noise in their bathroom recently only to find the exhaust fan cover had fallen onto the floor and a Carpet python was hanging down from the fan. By the time carers arrived the 2.5 metre Carpet Python had curled itself up in the toilet bowl and it wasn’t keen to leave! It had quite a grip with its tail in the ‘s’ bend of the toilet bowl. but after some encouraging words and gentle persuasion it finally let go and went into the bag. The farmer was happy to have it released into a nearby pocket of rainforest.
