À la faveur de la journée internationale des droits de la femme, africa.com, une société de médias en ligne, a dévoilé la liste 2022 des femmes PDG à la tête des plus grandes entreprises en Afrique. Les donnés des confrères s’appuient sur les statistiques fournies par Bloomberg.
Soixante-quatorze au total, un nombre en progression par rapport aux 50 enregistrés en 2021, ces dames contrôlent des sociétés dont le chiffre d’affaires est supérieur ou égal à 100 millions de dollars, soit 60,2 milliards FCFA, ou dont la capitalisation boursière est d’au moins 150 millions de dollars (90,3 milliards FCFA).
Dans cette liste majoritairement dominée par les pays anglophones (Afrique du Sud, Nigeria, Kenya…), l’on ne compte seulement que 7 francophones. Parmi ces dernières figurent la Sénégalaise Aminata Kane Ndiaye, DG Orange Sierra Leone et Ramatoulaye Diallo Shagaya, DG Orange Finances Mobile Services Sénégal.
