The Ministry of Health and Social Development (MSDS) informs the national public that, for some time now, there has been a proliferation of fake accounts and profiles in the name of Major Colonel Assa Badiallo TOURÉ, Minister of Health and Social Development, on the social network (Facebook), used by individuals with malicious intent to scam peaceful citizens.
The Ministry would like to clarify that the Minister does not have a personal or professional Facebook account.
However, during this Month of Solidarity and the Fight Against Exclusion (MSLE), it is also important to note that all recipients of donations are identified by the official steering committee through the relevant departments of the MSDS.
No aid is distributed through individuals or private accounts on Facebook.
Consequently, the Ministry of Health and Social Development urges the public to be extremely vigilant and not to respond to any messages, requests, or solicitations from pages or profiles claiming to represent the Minister.
