Une mission diplomatique est un groupe de personnes d’un État ou d’une organisation intergouvernementale internationale (telle que les Nations Unies) présentes dans un autre État pour représenter officiellement l’État/l’organisation d’envoi dans l’État d’accueil. En pratique, une mission diplomatique désigne généralement la résident, à savoir le bureau des représentants diplomatiques d’un pays dans la capitale d’un autre pays. En plus d’être une mission diplomatique auprès du pays dans lequel elle est située, il peut également s’agir d’une mission permanente non résidente auprès d’un ou de plusieurs autres pays. Il existe ainsi des ambassades résidentes et non résidentes.

POSTE 1 : WAREHOUSEMAN

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)

DUTIES: Responsible for unloading and moving of supplies, furniture and equipment. Keeps storage areas clean. Assists in conducting inventories. Reports to the Storekeeper at the Warehouse and is based at the Warehouse.

EDUCATION : Completion of elementary school (CFEPD) is required.

EXPERIENCE : Six months of laborer/warehouseman experience.

LANGUAGE : List both English and host country language(s) proficiency requirements by level (I, II, III) Level II (Limited knowledge) Speaking/Writing/Reading English and French are required. English may be tested.

DUTIES: The incumbent maintains landscaping as directed by the Group Leader and or the Maintenance Supervisor or the FM on USG controlled properties in Niamey, Niger.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of primary school is required (CFEPD).

EXPERIENCE: One year of landscaping experience is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be knowledgeable in the care of plants, trees, flowers, shrubs, and grasses, planting cycles and the proper use of fertilizer, and of hand and power gardening equipment

LANGUAGE: Must speak and comprehend to a level 2 French, (Hausa or Zarma), and understand basic English. These may be tested.
