Famous Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has been at the center of controversy on social media for the past few hours.
The actress has reportedly moved out of the mansion belonging to her billionaire husband Ned Nwoko, citing years of domestic violence and emotional distress.
In a video that has gone viral, she was heard saying:
“At Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But at my house, I am a queen. I can’t take the abuse anymore, it’s too much.”
According to reports, the actress claimed that when she moved her belongings, Ned Nwoko sent thugs after her. Her brother Sammy Daniels reportedly intervened to protect her.
She also allegedly claimed that her husband never allowed her family members to visit their home. Her brother broke his silence to speak his truth to his sister’s husband.
Addressing Ned, he said that the billionaire was lucky to have gotten away with hitting her and allegedly sending thugs to clean up his mess.
« Makachi! It hurts me that you finally want to make fun of my sister. I repeat, wherever a man beats a woman, whether she is my sister or not, I will fight to the end! Senator Ned Nwoko, you are lucky to have been able to beat my sister again, smash her head against the wall, and then run away by sending thugs! I swear I’ll break your jaw », he said on Instagram.
For now, neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko have spoken on the matter.
