Key Responsibilities |
• Process all transit operations: import and export/road and air/border crossing.
• Prepare and send service order to suppliers before execution
• Interact with terminal authorities
• Inform and advise customer on the formalities of the movement of goods (legal provisions, taxes, guarantees, etc.).
• Collect all the documents necessary to carry out the operations properly.
• Monitor and validate spending commitments.
• Inform the client and the hierarchy of the steps in the progress of the file. Notice of arrival, delays, delivery etc.
• Maintain good relations with customers and different administrations (customs, terminals, SEGUCE, Chamber of Commerce, etc.)
• Present the status of the files at the daily meeting.
• Check and validate all disbursement invoices.
• Ensure that all customs directories are followed properly. Customs declarations, temporary admissions, etc.
• Develop the skills of employees and other people in the field of transit
• To be a force of proposal to internal and external customers to ensure the efficiency of processing operations and compliance with regulations related to the activity of transiter |

Who we are looking for |
Training in Transport – Logistics/Transit and Customs. Experienced candidates (a minimum of 6 years) with a background and proven track record in handling customs and transit operations, import and export/road and air/border crossing for commodities including pharmaceutical products, dangerous Cargos, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of pack Office and Sydonia platform for declarations
• Proven negotiation ability
• Outstanding professional performance and experience within logistics, transit, and customs clearance
• Strong leadership and team working abilities
• Proactive and complex problem solving minded
• Active Listening, critical thinking and decision-making capacities
• Strong independent drive to achieve success in your work
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
• Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English |
